Yvonne Rainer
A founding member of New York’s pioneering Judson Dance Theater, Yvonne Rainer is widely regarded as a foundational figure of American art and avant-garde dance since the 1960s. In this short film, Rainer discusses her ongoing work-in-progress “The Concept of Dust, or How do you look when there's nothing left to move?” on the eve of the work's East Coast premiere June 2015 at The Museum of Modern Art.
Directed by Dustin Cohen, and produced by Greencard Pictures for The Museum of Modern Art.
